Policy and Tabled Documents

Under the open access information provisions of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA Act), an agency's policy documents are required to be made publicly available unless there is an overriding public interest against disclosure of information in the document. Section 23 of the GIPA Act defines a 'policy document'.
