Our website uses an automatic service to translate our content into different languages. These translations should be used as a guide only. See our Accessibility page for further information.
Examination results are emailed to each candidate and are available to view in each students STEMS portal.
Current Grading System
As of Semester 2, 2024 final results are allocated the below grades.
If you did not sit for the examination you will receive a DNS (Did Not Sit) mark. This mark will not appear in your academic transcript.

Marking
Final marks between 40 - 49 are automatically sent to a Revising Examiner for review to ensure that the appropriate overall mark has been given. The review is completed before results are published and results emailed to candidates are therefore final. There is no remark facility.
Results will not, under any circumstances, be advised over the telephone by LPAB staff.
Examiner Interviews
To book an interview with an examiner select the 'Miscellaneous' button in STEMS on the home page. Then select 'Interview with Examiner' in the drop-down menu. There is a $205 fee per interview.
A student may apply for an interview with an examiner to review and discuss their exam performance. The interview allows the student to learn from the examiner how the student’s exam script meets or does not meet the exam requirements.
The deadline to submit an interview request is by the end of late enrolment period for the following term. The interview will be held at a time and place convenient to the Examiner and the student will be notified of arrangements for the interview as soon as possible.
