No, after the offender’s sentence expires you can no longer register unless the offender receives another custodial sentence related to you.

No, the court must decide the offender is guilty first before we can register you. We cannot register you while the offender is awaiting sentencing in prison (on remand) or in the community (on bail).

If you apply using our PDF form, please submit a separate application for each offender.
We cannot provide information relating to the offender's medical or psychological history. This includes cause of death if the offender dies in prison or in the community while serving a sentence.
We are not informed when an offender moves to another prison. However, you can call us at any time to receive an update on the offender’s location.
We cannot tell you if an offender moves to a medical facility. This is considered health information.
If the offender is in the community, we cannot share their location under NSW law.
